Craig Fagan says he isn't unsettled by Hull City's push to sign new strikers.
"It doesn't bother me one bit if we bring in new players, it shouldn't bother anyone," Fagan told the Hull Daily Mail.
"If you're doing better than the person that's come in, then you'll be playing in the team. That's the challenge that you have to welcome and it can only benefit the squad with competition for places.
"From training during the week to performances on a Saturday, it should bring out the very best in you.
"If we are improving all over the squad then we can become a Premier League side for a long, long time."
