Arsenal supporters reacted strongly to the opening day defeat to Aston Villa on the weekend.

tribalfootball.com asked the Arsenal faithful on our Facebook page what they thought of the loss and what they would ask manager Arsene Wenger if they had the chance.

Below are some of the responses we received and it was fairly unanimous that Wenger needs to dip into his transfer kitty.

'How long will it take you to understand the plight of the fans who has supported and stayed with you all these years? U sell our most priced and valuable assets without replacement and you want us to come pay tickets to watch us loose matches week in week out. The likes of olivier giroud, theo walcolt, bacary sagna to mention a few don't give 100% to the team and every position needs atleast 2 to 3 players to ensure strength and winning power but it isn't looking like it.
