Fabio da Silva knows he's playing for his Manchester United future this coming season.
His contract with United runs for another year in which he intends to establish himself in the first team.
"Pre-season is going well, the training is good under the new manager," he told the Manchester Evening News. "I played 90 minutes (in Yokohama) and I'm feeling good.
"I hope to play at many games as possible and start to play every week. I've not spoke to the manager (about my contract situation) yet, I think it's better for him to see me on the pitch.
"But I want to win as many trophies as possible with United and I think I share that mentality with the manager."
