Fabio Aurelio insists no-one is getting carried away at Liverpool after Tuesday night's amazing 8-0 trouncing of Besiktas.

He also admits there is still much to do if the famous red shirts are going to be seen in round two of this season's Champions League.

"We have confidence in our team," Aurelio told Liverpoolfc.tv. "But we know that we're not all of a sudden the best team in the world, just as we knew when we were criticised that we weren't the worst.

"It was a good step forward but we still have a lot to do against Porto and Marseille. Everyone can still get through but we know it depends on us whether or not we do it.

"We know we are very strong at Anfield and the other teams will have seen this result. All we have to do is keep working hard and believing."
