Fabian Delph is edging closer to landing a new deal with Manchester City.

The Mirror says Delph is in line for a new deal — if he can stay fit until the end of the season at Manchester City.

The England international has impressed Pep Guardiola after standing in as an emergency left-back, and is set to reap the reward.

The 28-year-old, who made his name as a central midfielder, has transformed himself into a defender in the wake of Benjamin Mendy's absence.

But City management want Delph to prove he's beyond his knee problems before handing him new terms.
