FA turn down Hull appeal for Huddlestone red

The FA has turned down Hull City's appeal to rescind the red card received by their midfielder Tom Huddlestone in the 4-0 defeat against Everton on Saturday.

The 30-year-old was sent off by referee Paul Tierney for his foul on Idrissa Gueye in the 74th minute when the score was still 1-0.

The Tigers attempted to have the three-game sanction overturned as they felt it Huddlestone did not deserve the sending off.

Huddlestone will now miss fixtures against West Ham United, Middlesbrough and Manchester City for the Tigers who currently sit 18th in the Premier League table.Pick existing
