The FA are set to kickoff interviews this week for the England U21 job.
The Daily Mail says the FA will complete interviews for the £600,000-a-year post as England Under 21 head coach at St George's Park this week.
Club England bosses are interviewing nine candidates- believed to include Rene Meulensteen, Steve McClaren, Michael Appleton and Gareth Southgate - for the role.
They began interviewing last week and expect to be in a position to name a successor to Stuart Pearce next month.
