The Football Association are to launch a 'Player to Coach' initiative to introduce England players past and present to coaching, reports Sky Sports.
John Terry, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Ashley Cole and Wayne Rooney are among those to be assisted by the FA in attaining their coaching badges.
The governing body is keen to ensure big names gain coaching qualifications. England manager Gareth Southgate and technical director Dan Ashworth want the players involved and the FA is ready to create a tailored programme to help the former internationals get their UEFA A and Pro licenses.
