The Football Association has fined Chelsea and Arsenal while warning both clubs as to their future.
The Blues have been slugged with a £40,000 sanction while the Gunners have copped a £30,000 penalty pertaining to the clash at Stamford Bridge between the two clubs on September 19.
A statement from the FA read: "The charge was for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion from the 44th to the 47th minute of the game."
The London rivals have been charged in relation to the red card received by Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista when reacting to provocation from Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
Brazilian Gabriel has since had his red card and three-match ban rescinded.
