The Football Association insists there has been no corporate rebranding of the FA Cup.
Recent reports suggested that football's oldest knock-out competition would return to sponsorship after their most recent deal with Budweiser ended.
It has been suggested that Emirates airline had agreed a three-year, £30million deal with the FA but those claims are false according to English football's governing body.
"We remain in discussion with a number of parties in relation to FA Cup partner opportunities," said an FA spokesman.
It is believed that the potential rebrand that would have come with Emirates' mooted sponsorship would see the competition renamed the Emirates FA Cup in what would be a first for the famous cup competition.
