Four second half goals together with a first half strike ensured West Ham progressed into the 6th round of the FA Cup 5-1 at the expense of ChampionshipBurnley. Thomas Hitzlsperger on his debut for the Hammers opened the scoring with a 30 yard screamer midway through the first half and whilst Burnley rallied just before the break, three quick-fire goals in 11 minutes just after the second half began settled the contest.
