Manchester City have been taken to a deserved replay by Championship outfit Leicester City following a 2-2 draw at the Walkers Stadium. The would-be Premiership title contenders never looked comfortable even after recovering from going behind to an early goal, they rallied and went in at the break with a fortunate 2-1 advantage.
City never looked nervy at the back and found themselves a goal down within a minute when debutant Sol Samba put the home side ahead following a short corner.
The Foxes sensed a shock result and keeper Joe Hart made a couple of smart stops but the big spenders from the top flight levelled midway through the half from James Milner's shot.
Then on the stroke of half-time Leicester switched off allowing Carlos Tevez to finish from close range.
The Championship team were enjoying the better chances and deservedly levelled through Andy King taking advantage of a Hart fumble.
City could have won it late on but that would have been harsh on Leicester who must now replay at Eastlands.
