FA chairman Greg Dyke has already wrote off England's World Cup chances after their group draw.

England will face Uruguay, Italy and Costa Rica in Group D following the draw yesterday.

The London Evening Standard says Dyke made his pessimistic view very clear when he was captured making a throat-cutting gesture after England's name was plucked from the hat.
