The Football Association today kicked off proceedings for the claimed racial comments made by Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan striker allegedly racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra at Anfield in mid-October with the Frenchman claiming Suarez directed a certain offensive word to him on at least 10 occasions.
Suarez has maintained his innocence throughout the allegations but was charged by the FA last month for abusing an opponent by referring to his 'ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race'.
