The 2015 Carolina Challenge Cup kicks off this weekend with two new clubs involved for the 12th edition of the tournament.
Expansion sides New York City FC and Orlando City SC will do battle this weekend while hosts Charleston Battery and the Houston Dynamo will also be involved.
The four teams will play three matches each at the Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina with the winner to be determined via a standings situation dependent on all results.
Last year, DC United took out the trophy with one win and two draws from their three matches, ahead of Seattle Sounders on goal difference.

Saturday, February 21
