Bastian Schweinsteiger wouldn't let a parking ticket get in the way of a good day out with his wife and friends.

The Manchester United midfielder copped the infringement while he was out for an afternoon stroll with Ana Ivanovic, who he recently married, as well as Manchester City's Aleksandar Kolarov and his wife Vesna.

The quartet were snapped in Hale, Greater Manchester, as the United and City players put aside their differences for the day.

Tennis star Ivanovic and Kolarov are two of Serbian sport's biggest names, while Schweinsteiger is struggling to force his way in under Jose Mourinho at United.
