Mamadou Sakho is prepared to depart Liverpool this winter, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror is of the belief that the French defender will end his exile at Anfield by leaving Merseyside in January.

The 26-year-old centre-back has been frozen out by Jurgen Klopp in the wake of some pre-season misdemeanours and reportedly has absolutely no future at the club while the German is in charge.

Much to Klopp's frustration, Sakho rejected a loan move to Stoke City on deadline day, and has since not even been considered for the senior team throughout the season so far, while playing for the U23s.

It is felt that Sakho is now fully aware of the situation and is preparing to move from Liverpool as soon as the winter transfer market opens with Lille a potential destination.
