Exeter midfielder Lee Holmes admits they targeted Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan for last night's 2-2 FA Cup draw.
Holmes beat the Hungarian with a curling set-piece which looped over the Reds stopper and into the back of the net during Exeter's FA Cup third round draw against the Premier League giants.
Holmes, former of Derby County, said: "We've been working all week on them; put it in the mixer, right on top of Bogdan. It obviously worked great for us today."
The 28-year-old felt the Grecians had done enough to cause a cup shock and added: "We knew we could cause an upset, we're disappointed we haven't come away with a win because we played really well, I thought other than possession we deserved it.
"It'll be great to go to Anfield now, and give them another game."
