Valencia are waiting to pounce for Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.
Local sources say Valencia have lined up Mata as a replacement for Andre Gomes, with the Portuguese on the shopping lists of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Gomes has also been linked with Manchester United, though Tribalfootball.com has been informed Jose Mourinho has told his agent, Jorge Mendes, that the Los Che ace isn't a priority.
We can also reveal Valencia owner Peter Lim has asked his contacts at United to keep his representatives up-to-speed on Mata's situation.
Gomes is expected to be sold after the Euros and the cash raised could go towards a bid for Mata.
The Spain international joined Los Che after leaving Real Madrid and a return would suit the diminutive playmaker. Any move, however, would require Mata to accept a cut on his current €6 million United salary.
