Liverpool are keeping tabs on Roma youngster Luca Pellegrini.
The 18 year-old left-back is being watched by the Reds this season.
Tribalfootball.com has been informed Pellegrini came close to signing for Liverpool's academy two years ago and has remained on their radar.
Liverpool offered a 16 year-old Pellegrini a bumper contract to quit Roma and Italy so to pursue his pro career on Merseyside. The teen was tempted, but chose to stick with Roma.
Pellegrini is currently tied to Roma until 2018 and is being watched regularly by Liverpool.
Interestingly, the fullback is represented by Italian super agent Mino Raiola, whose last piece of business with Liverpool was the departure of Mario Balotelli to Nice.
