EXCLUSIVE: Flying Club America wing-back Paul Aguilar targets Premier League move

Mexico international fullback Paul Aguilar is chasing a move to the Premier League.

The Club America defender, 28, has joined agent Franjo Blazevic's stable with the hope of landing himself a move to England.

Blessed with explosive pace and a powerful shot, Aguilar is regarded among the Liga MX's best defenders and feels ready to make the jump to Europe.

The experienced right-sided wing-back, who boasts 39 caps, believes his style of play would suit English football best and has drawn inspiration in the past from Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez, where he is on-loan from Manchester United, and his experience in the Premier League.

A source close to Aguilar's camp told tribalfootball.com: "Paul has spent his entire career in Mexico and now feels ready for a fresh challenge. He's always loved the Premier League and like everyone connected to El Tri, has pumped Chicharito for information on life in England.

"Paul is what we regard as an attacking wing-back in Mexico. In other words, your typical English fullback: great pace and power, a big engine and top quality crossing ability."
