Chelsea should drop plans of landing Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan and focus their attentions elsewhere.
That's the opinion of Italian agent Nicola Giuliani, who has kept a close eye on the Belgian's situation since the New Year.
Giuliani has told Tribalfootball.com that reports coming out of Rome that the Giallorossi are proving stubborn in negotiations are spot on. Luciano Spalletti, Roma's coach, simply doesn't want to lose the midfielder.
"I don't think Spalletti will let Nainggolan leave," says Giuliani. "There's no-one who can replace him."
It's been mooted Roma could sell Nainggolan to Chelsea and replace him with Bologna youngster Amadou Diawara.
But Giuliani adds: "Spalletti doesn't want to lose him (Nainggolan). And in any case, Diawara simply isn't ready to replace such a seasoned player."
Chelsea had a third improved bid for Nainggolan rejected by Roma on Monday.
