Eliaquim Mangala's former agent is frustrated seeing him struggle in England.
The Manchester City defender joined Everton on-loan in January, but has undergone knee surgery this week after breaking down on his home debut against Crystal Palace.
Italian agent Fabrizio Ferrari, who took Mangala from Standard Liege to Porto earlier in his career, is frustrated seeing the France international fail to prove himself to Premier League fans.
Ferrari told Tribalfootball.com: "I just don't know: I'd hoped maybe this change could help him.
"He still has to find the right place (team) to express all the good things he showed back when he used to play for Porto."
Mangala, meanwhile, reported last night that his knee op had been successful, with hope he could yet get back for Everton before the end of this season.
He posted to social media: "Operation done.
"Now, let's get to work, to come back #EverStronger. 'Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.' #BatManga'".
