Ex-Zurich, Thun, Melbourne Victory, Newcastle Jets defender Milicevic joins Hajduk Split

Ljubo Milicevic has signed a deal with Croatian giants Hajduk Split it has been confirmed.
The former FC Zurich, FC Thun, Young Boys, Melbourne Victory and Newcastle Jets defender has penned a two-year deal with the Prva HNL outfit, completing a dream move to the country of his descent.
Milicevic was most recently playing with South Melbourne in the Victorian Premier League but is now a Split player after having a few trials in Europe earlier this year.
Hajduk have a friendly with European champions Barcelona in July which Milicevic, and former Gold Coast United youngster Steve Lustica – who signed a four-year deal with the club – are both chances to play in.
