Christophe Berra has emerged as a summer transfer target for Rangers.

The 27-year old Scottish centre-back is a free agent after being released by Wolves at the end of last season and is attracting the interest of ‘Gers boss Ally McCoist.

"Without doubt, Christophe is someone I'm looking at,” he said.

"He's a player I would think ticks the vast majority of the boxes. He's a great age, a good player and he has vast experience."

Berra spent four-and-a-half years at the Molineux after joining from Heart of Midlothian for £2.5million in January 2009.
