Cardiff City have released striker Jay Bothroyd after the club and player failed to agree a new contract.
The former Wolves, Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City man scored 18 goals for the Bluebirds this season but will no longer be at the Cardiff City Stadium and could find himself in England's top flight after his club failed in the Championship semi-finals.
A host of Premier League clubs are believed to be showing interest in the 28-year old who received a surprise England call-up during the season.
