Ex-West Ham winger Stanislas feels comfortable with Bournemouth move

Junior Stanislas says he feels vindicated after making the move to AFC Bournemouth from Burnley in the summer.

The 24-year old winger left Turf Moor in June after three years with the Clarets who had just been promoted to the Premier League.

The former West Ham United man is aware he is missing out on playing in England's top flight once again but feels comfortable that he is getting regular game time with the Cherries in the Championship.

"In terms of where Burnley are, you can't judge them too harshly because they have had some tough games," Stanislas told the Bournemouth Daily Echo about Burnley who sit second bottom on the Premier League table.

"But in terms of my own personal decision, I'm happy. I've been starting games and coming on the pitch.

"I've only not come on once when I've been on the bench.

"I think I've contributed towards the team and how we've played. My decision was solely based on football reasons and playing, and I've had that opportunity so far, so I can't complain."

Stanislas has made 10 appearances for Bournemouth since his arrival at Dean Court including seven outings in the Championship in which Eddie Howe's side sits 15th ahead of the weekend's home clash with Wigan Athletic.
