Former West Ham United trialist Jeremie Aliadiere is back in action.
Aliadiere played an hour for Middlesbrough reserves on Tuesday - his first game for eight months following the posterior ligament knee injury which scuppered his move to West Ham.
The 27-year-old former Arsenal striker is a free agent and Boro boss Tony Mowbray is considering whether to offer him a contract.
