Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute is believed to be interested in making a move to Major League Soccer.
The former Lyon, West Ham United and Tottenham man suggested to French daily L’Equipe that he could be on his way out of Spain in the summer and said that the United States is a place which appealed to him.
“Neither I nor the club would be against anticipating the end of our beautiful history, ” said Kanoute.
“The United States and Qatar, are adventures that interest me.”
The French-born Mali international joined Sevilla from Spurs in 2005 and has had great success in Andalusia, winning the 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cups and the 2007 and 2010 versions of Spain’s Copa del Rey. He has scored more than 80 goals in over 170 appearances for Los Rojiblancos.
