Former West Ham United goalkeeper David James has called on Sam Allardyce to take the FA Cup seriously.
Allardyce has confirmed he'll play his kids against Nottingham Forest.
But James, a 2008 FA Cup winner with Portsmouth, told the Daily Star: "If you go into the FA Cup saying we don't want to win this, we just concentrate on the league, you are basically putting them out to lose.
"Any negative feelings around the club and the camp will only be exaggerated by suggesting you don't want to win the FA Cup.
"Nottingham Forest will be a tough game for West Ham as Forest are in pretty good form at the moment.
"But if you put out a side out to win the match and West Ham beat Nottingham Forest, all of a sudden you have 11 players or 14 players buoyed by the win."
