Ex-West Ham chief Aldridge linked with Man City

Paul Aldridge is being linked with Manchester City.

After Alistar Mackintosh's departure as chief executive yesterday, the Daily Mail says City intend to replace him with a lesser-titled chief operating officer, expected to be Aldridge, who has stepped down at Leicester.

He had been working there since leaving West Ham in the fall-out from the disputed Carlos Tevez registration which is still on-going.
