Former West Ham United and Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley is keen to hear from Wolves.
The Express & Star says the 54-year-old former West Ham boss turned down the chance to replace Mick McCarthy two months ago after he admitted the offer of a 13-game contract proved an obstacle.
"We will have to see what happens but I was pleased I was in a position to speak to Wolves because, since I left West Ham, I've been out for some time now," said Curbishley.
"I think that 13 games to go was one of the things but there were some other issues. Having had discussions with Steve Morgan and Jez Moxey, I just felt I wasn't committed to it at that time."
