Ex-West Ham boss Bilic linked with China job

Former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is being linked with the China job.

The Sun says Bilic is in line to become to new boss of China's national team.

Current manager Marcello Lippi is on borrowed time after the hosts were humiliated in the China Cup in March.

And sources say former West Ham boss Bilic, 49, is the leading candidate to replace the veteran Italian and is already in negotiations to take up the lucrative post.

Bilic, who was sacked by West Ham last November, enjoyed his greatest success as a manager when in charge of the Croatian national team between 2006 and 2012.
