Australian national team captain Lucas Neill has sealed his move to UAE champions Al Jazira.
The 33-year old former West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers captain has joined the Middle Eastern club on a one-year deal as a free agent after his contract with Turkish club Galatasaray expired at the end of last season.
Neill, who has also played with Millwall and Everton, has recently been linked with Premier League newcomers QPR and MLS outfit Seattle Sounders but has decided to follow Socceroos teammate Mark Bresciano to the Middle East after the midfielder left Lazio for Al Nasr earlier this week.
