Parma attacker Luis Jimenez has slated his time with West Ham United this season.
Jimenez, 25, endured a nightmare spell at Upton Park following his loan move from Inter Milan last summer and made just 11 appearances for the east London club.
He said: "Football there is a bit different from the Italian football, and after six months in England I would say that Italian football is much more complete. They play also at Christmas and on New Years Day. For me, football is not everything, but much also depends on the environment.
"I want to thank FC Parma who brought me back into the Italian league. I hope to do very well.
"One of my privileges is to give quality to the game of Parma and I hope to showcase the qualities that led me to Inter."
