Ex-West Brom striker Moore happy to choose Swansea

Swansea City have snapped up West Bromwich Albion striker Luke Moore.

The Swans have completed the signing of Moore on a two-and-a-half year deal on a free transfer.

"I had a few offers from other clubs,'' Moore, 24, told the Swansea website. "But as soon as I came down to speak to the manager and chairman (Huw Jenkins) I was very committed to Swansea and I wasn't going to go back on my word.

"I spoke to a lot of people about the manager before I came down for talks and they all had nothing but praise for him as a person and a coach.

"I needed confirmation for myself on how he saw me fitting in to the squad, but as soon as I spoke to him I knew there was only one place for me.

"There is a great set up here at Swansea, from the stadium and the pitch to the squad itself. There are some very good young players here and I think everyone in the game is well aware of their unique style of play.

"They always play good football, which I think will suit me. I'm really looking forward to it.''
