Former Wellington Phoenix striker Kosta Barbarouses wants to repay the faith the Brisbane Roar have already showed in him.
The 20-year old New Zealander kicked off pre-season training with his new club this week and is keen to show his teammates and the Roar fans just why the club secured his signature during the off season.
"I want to start as many games as I can so I can repay the club for the faith they have in bringing me here," Barbarouses said.
"And obviously I want to score as many goals as possible because at the end of the day, that's my job in the team.
"I think I bring a bit of pace to the forward line and hopefully my scoring ability.
"We have a big target-man in Reinaldo and I think (fellow striker) Henrique and myself can work off him really well.
"I'm enjoying it so far and Brisbane is a great city and it's a great setup at the Roar."
