Doncaster Rovers boss Bryan Flynn insists Aaron Ramsey can still fulfil his potential at Arsenal.
Flynn worked with Ramsey as Wales U21 coach.
He told the Daily Mail: "Whenever we got into the opposition half during practice matches, we had to find him. I marked out a little box on the pitch and he couldn't move out of it until he had touched it.
"I don't know if he plays that way at Arsenal. What he said to me when he signed was he went to see Arsene Wenger and said: 'Am I going to replace Cesc Fabregas?' And the Arsenal manager replied: 'No, you're going to play with him.' "I think he can do better. People will automatically look at the injury and only Aaron can answer that. But he has never been lightning quick. But for a young player, he was very clever."
