LA Galaxy's Juan Pablo Angel is set to join Philadelphia Union according to goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon.
The 40-year old veteran posted on his Twitter account that his former Colombia national teammate was close to joining the Union ahead of the transfer window closing.
"What a dream come true will be to have my "brother" Juan Pablo Angel to play for the Philadelphia Union," he tweeted. "He will fit perfectly in our Team!!"
Angel joined the Galaxy this year after spending four seasons with New York Red Bulls, whom he joined from Aston Villa in 2007, but it has not yet been confirmed by either the Galaxy or the Union if the transfer is set to go through.
