Ex-Villa keeper Postma set for QPR switch

Former Aston Villa goalkeeper Stefan Postma claims he is on his way to Queens Park Rangers.

The experienced shot-stopper currently plays for ADO Den Haag in the Dutch Jupiler League, having joined the club in 2006.

But Postma now seems poised for a return to English football to join the revolution taking place at Loftus Road.

"This is an enormous chance for me," Postma told De Telegraaf.

"I am extremely happy that I can start keeping clean sheets in goal in England again."

QPR are expected to pay a nominal fee for the 31-year-old, who is due to sign an 18-month contract in West London.
