Former Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov feels Gabby Agbonlahor is primed for a big match against Southampton.
He hopes to see Agbonlahor run riot at St Mary's on Wednesday evening.
He told avfc.co.uk: "Gabby is a big player for Villa.
"He has been for a long, long time. People sometimes say he doesn't score enough goals but when he's in the team, the other side is intimidated.
"He has pace, he has strength and he causes all kinds of trouble.
"He's a very positive player. You could see that against Sunderland. He tried to make things happen.
"The team don't look the same without him. He's a very important forward. He's a character too in the dressing room. That's vital."
