Former Celtic and Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is wanted by Blackburn Rovers.

The Daily Star says O'Neill is the No.1 choice to replace Steve Kean at Blackburn should he be axed from Ewood Park.

Venky's could appoint a director of football to help Kean or decide to make a change, with O'Neill their top target should they sack the Scot.
