Ex-Villa ace Milosevic wants Serbia to stamp out racism

The Serbian Football Association's technical director Savo Milosevic wants his country to stamp out racist behaviour at football matches.

The Serbian U21 team have been accused of racism towards England's Young Lions following yesterday's European Championship qualifier which saw nasty scenes after the final whistle.

England won 2-0 on aggregate after the two-legged play-off thanks to Connor Wickham's injury-time winner in Krusevac yesterday which sparked the ugly scenes and now former Aston Villa star Milosevic wants the Serbian FA to follow what the English FA did a few years back to get rid of the problem.

"To solve the problem of racism in football, I would do what England did with hooligans years ago," he told CNN.

He added: "I went to England dressing room and I apologized for what has happened."
