Former Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Deportivo la Coruna striker Miguel Angel Ferrer Martinez is being heavily linked with a move to Toronto FC.

MLSR reports that the man known as Mista has emerged as a potential mid-season Designated Player candidate after trialling with the club.

If the move goes ahead, Mista would join former Deportivo teammate Julian de Guzman at BMO Field.
