Ex-USA star Sanneh helping Pakistani flood cause

Former USA international and MLS star Tony Sanneh has leant his support to the flood disaster in Sindh, Pakistan.

The 39-year old is among a group of ex-footballers who have travelled to Pakistan to help give relief to the victims, assisting The Gift of the Givers Foundation.

"I know if I were in trouble people would help me, and [also] this is a chance to let people of the world know what's going on and hopefully get more help here," said Sanneh.

The former DC United, Hertha Berlin, FC Nurnberg, Chicago Fire and LA Galaxy man was joined by fellow former footballers including Germany's Lutz Pfannenstiel, Sven Kuhn, David Jurgen Felix Riedel, Michel Dinzey and New Zealand's former star striker Wyton Whai Alan Rufer.
