Ex-Tottenham striker Keane set for LA Galaxy debut this weekend

LA Galaxy signing Robbie Keane is likely to make his MLS debut this weekend after receiving his P-1 visa.

The 31-year old Republic of Ireland striker is now eligible to play for his new club and it appears as if he will make his bow in Week 23 action when the Galaxy host San Jose Earthquakes at The Home Depot Center.

Keane, who counts Inter Milan, Leeds United, Liverpool and Celtic among some of his former clubs, will wear the number 14 shirt which was last seen on USA international Edson Buddle before he left for German club Ingolstadt in January.

The Galaxy currently sit five points clear on the Western Conference table and face a Quakes outfit who have not won in their last 11 outings.
