Former Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy has questioned the leadership inside Arsenal's squad.

Much has been made of Alexis Sanchez's alleged huge wage demands, while he was seen laughing and smiling on the bench as Arsenal were losing 5-1 to Bayern on Tuesday.

And Murphy posed a vital question: who is actually having a meaningful conversation with Sanchez?

He said: "Would Per Mertesacker or Laurent Koscielny be willing to approach him and say: 'You're our best player but maybe don't show your frustration so much, as it's not doing us any good?' It doesn't look to me as though Arsenal have too many characters able to do it.
