Ex-Tottenham, Liverpool striker Keane will definitely add goals says LA Galaxy's Beckham

LA Galaxy star David Beckham is confident new signing Robbie Keane will provide plenty of goals for the club.

The 31-year old striker netted on his Galaxy debut on the weekend after joining from Tottenham Hotspur last week and Beckham, who trained with Keane at Spurs in the winter, knows exactly what a player of his quality can bring to the team.

"It's great to have a player who knows where to run, who you know is going to be on the end of the ball when you play that pass that's going to set up a goal," said Beckham, who set up Keane's first goal in Los Angeles colors.

"He's just going to help the team. He's going to give us confidence, he's going to give us goals. It showed [Saturday].

"He's so confident and comfortable in front of the goal, he takes his time and he scores," Beckham added. "Let's hope he continues to do that."
