Robbie Keane has signed a multi-year contract extension with MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy.
The 32-year old Republic of Ireland striker has agreed to a re-sign with the Galaxy after helping the Los Angeles club take out back-to-back titles since his move in August 2011.
Former Tottenham and Liverpool forward Keane has scored a total of 28 goals in 48 appearances for the Galaxy with 22 of those coming in the MLS last season including seven playoff goals. His form in 2012 landed him a spot in the MLS Best XI.
