Former Tottenham captain Paul Miller is excited about what he's seeing from this season's team.
Miller says the summer signings have made a huge difference.
He told talkSPORT: "The three signings have been major. Brad Friedel in goal has been fantastic and has given them that steadying influence and experience, Parker is tidying everything up and releasing Modric and Van Der Vaart to play, and Adebayor is a handful for anyone on his day."
Adebayor was the two goal hero in the 2-0 win over Villa, and Miller believes the big forward is loving life at White Hart Lane.
He added: "He's strong, powerful and quick and he just wanted to play. He's enjoying it at Spurs and playing with better players than he did at Arsenal.
"He's getting good service from Bale and Lennon. There is no team in the Premier League with two quicker wide players. And Modric is terrific so Adebayor is getting service he could only dream of.
"The team is confident and playing flowing football. Everyone knows their place and the team is full of goals. They expect to win every home game and that hasn't happened for a while.
"It's a great time to be a Spurs fan."
